Shotgun Shooting - T90 MBC (MB) Time Block(s): 1, 2 (7:00PM) Available To: Youth (Y) Minimum Age: 13 Seats Available: 3 A shotgun is a precision instrument, designed to shoot a shot charge in a specific pattern to cover a designated area at a certain distance. Unlike a rifle, the bore of the shotgun is not rifled, so the shot emerging from the muzzle is not spinning. Prerequisites: Scouts must be at least age 13 or older or with counselor pre-approval. Contact Mr Sam for pre-approval. Do not bring firearm or ammunition.

Scouts who earn this badge will learn about safety when swimming and diving, how swimming can contribute to overall fitness and health, and gain some basic competitive swimming skills.

Today, most farms are mechanized and farmers can do most of their own maintenance work and make the adjustments needed on their many intricate farm implements.Prerequisites: - Req 1b, and 1d bring drawing and MSDS sheets to class.- Bring two tools, if you can, to be used for req. 3 a, c, d; OR do 3b and bring proof (before and after pictures would be ideal).- Bring the merit badge worksheet.

We strongly recommend that a Scout procure and become familiar with his own GPS unit prior to attempting to earn this merit badge.Prerequisites: - Requirements 8 and 9. Please provide documentation.- Be able to use a map and compass,- be familiar with leave no trace- with a parents permission set up a user account at www.geocaching.com and complete Requirement #7.- Please bring a GPS unit if you have one or can borrow one from your unit. If you do not have access to one let us know at time of registration. Smart phones with GPScapability are acceptable.
